LARGE MANUFACTURING COMPANY IN MONROE TOWNSHIP NJ IS LOOKING FOR SHARP MAINTENANCE AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN DO ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ON PRODUCTION LINE EQUIPMENT.
Tuesday-Saturdays 3:30pm-12am. You will train on 1st shift Tues-Sat 8am-4:30pm
PAY IS BETWEEN $30-$34 HOURLY
Qualifications
- This role requires strong technical skills, including basic math skills, industrial maintenance experience, PLC experience, and electronic training
- The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- 5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience or equivalent on-the-job training
- Basic electronic training in a formal atmosphere or equivalent on-the-job training
- 3 years of PLC experience
- Ability to analyze and prioritize projects, and respond to instructions in an independent manner
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Noise level up to 90 dB and above, requiring ear protection
Responsibilities
- The Automation Systems Technician role is key to ensuring the operation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging systems
- The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing efficiency and uptime of these systems, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting issues as needed
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on automated packaging systems, including robots, leak detectors, and vision systems
- Troubleshoot issues with automated systems and equipment
- Train production personnel on the operation of automation equipment
- Perform general maintenance on automation equipment
- Recommend case counts and packaging sizing to optimize automated packaging system effectiveness
- Modify software and programs as necessary for automated systems
- Set up, trouble shoot, and debug new automation applications
- Overtime may be required on short notice
- Sharp edges of machinery and moving machine components
- Occasional lifting of 10-50 lbs, carrying 50 lbs for 100 ft, and pushing/pulling a 1000 lb robot cell
- Detecting visual functioning problems with robots, conveyors, and inspection aid equipment
