LARGE MANUFACTURING PLANT IN AURORA CO IS LOOKING FOR STRONG MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR/ MAINTENANCE LEAD. THIS IS A HANDS-ON ROLE, SO LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN DO ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL WORK IN A MANUFACTURING SETTING.

PAYS: $40.77 HOURLY 

SHIFTS: 8PM-430AM MUST BE OPEN TO WEEKEND WORK

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review and participate in the work of staff responsible for facility maintenance.
  • Establish schedules and methods for providing facility maintenance services.
  •  Identify resource needs; review needs with appropriate management staff and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Participate in the development of goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures.
  • Make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the implementation of approved policies and procedures.
  • Monitor work activities to make sure they comply with established practices and procedures.
  • Monitor and order control supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare documents for equipment procurement.
  • Coordinate training in facility maintenance and safety methods, procedures and techniques.
  • Develop and organize preventative maintenance and safety inspection programs for all facilities and equipment.
  • Must be hands on and actively participate on the production floor while supervising employees.
  • Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s).
  • Will perform other duties as required by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess knowledge of operations, services, and activities of a buildings’ maintenance and repair program.
  • Know materials, methods, terminology, equipment and tools used in maintenance and repair of equipment and systems including those used in performing plumbing, heating, electrical, mechanical and painting work.
  • Principles of supervision and training.
  • Knowledge of pertinent local, state and federal laws, ordinances, codes and rules.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is expected to actively participate on the production floor.
  • Use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel or bend.
  • Employee must lift up to 75 pounds and is required to ask for assistance if limit is exceeded.
